It would appear I have configured the controller correctly, as both light fixtures seem to respond ok in manual mode. The problem I am having is related to auto mode, in particular, the pan and tilt axes. When playing back a sequence, the pan and tilt do not respond to the controller, however the gobos the colours do work as expected. This happens to both the MiniMac's an the 's. Any help much appreciated. Posted 27 October - PM Check the settings of the movement speed slider for pan and tilt.
Make sure you have a credible fade rate set for the scenes to run in auto, otherwise the pan and tilt may not be able to cope if you have a particularly short scene dwell.
Posted 28 October - AM both the minimac and the s have a speed control for movement lhis may be set wrong hence no movement. However, the joystick does not seem to do anything. I have adjusted the data entry speeds but no joy, the lights only change gobos when running a program, the tilt pan motors dont do anything. The controller seems to record and playback the colour and gobo changes, as well as strobe and gobo rotate no problem, I cant figure out whats up. I have tried recording and playback at different speeds but still no pan tilt.
Is my controller stuffed? There is a master reset code but I dont have it bought second hand. Any more help appreciated. Posted 16 November - PM Oh, ok, but isn't it one of these? This is a Futurelight CP Did you get it sorted? Posted 16 November - PM it would seem if you have either a joystick or jog wheels this makes no difference. Posted 16 November - PM I guess you have an early version of the controller, Steinigke dont have yours in the catalogue, the owners manuals all relate to the wheels as well and the pic I linked to is the CP You say the stick will control in manual mode but the lights dont follow the programme in a pre-programmed sequence?
If you bought it second hand, I suppose its always possible that the fixture personalities for the scanners you have are modified, if you dont have the PIN code then you cant get into the personality menu setup 1.
The manual asks you to email futurelight with the serial number of the desk and they will re-send you your PIN number. Posted 28 November - AM It seems neither of the fixtures respond to the joystick in manual or programming mode. The programs I have generated have been using the sliders, not the joystick. The lights respond perfectly to the sliders during the programing or manual mode, but it its like the pan and tilt are not saved when calling up a sequence.
I did configure the MiniMac and myself, and all aspects respond as expected, just in recalling a sequence It may well be faulty Posted 28 November - PM Quote both light fixtures seem to respond ok in manual mode.

Posted 28 November - PM There doesn't seem to be much to configure on the joystick, just sensitivity percentage Nothing responds to the joystick. Can it be configured other than in the setup menu?
