First Edition - Limited. Large octavo. This copy has a long talismanic inscription from Chumbley signed Alogos" on the front free endpaper and contains all the called-for enclosures including "The Grimoire Sabatrachion" - which was only enclosed in certain select copies - plus an additional single-leaf publisher's prospectus.
The scarcest publication of Andrew Chumbley and the Cultus Sabbati. Arguably the scarcest and most sought-after publication of Andrew Chumbley and Cultus Sabbati, it sets forth a ritual involving a toad that is used to produce a magically charged bone. There is also another, larger envelope, which is sigilized and has the word "Sabatrachion" written on it in Chumbley's hand.
This houses a large red card stock folder with printed text beginning "Seventy-seven Souls for Lamech" AKA "The Curse of Lamech" that is again personally sigilized and signed by Chumbley on the front and back.
Within this is a blue-black card sheet, entitled "The Grimoire Sabatrachion," AKA "The Leaves of the Sabatrachion" both sides of which are covered with a complex series of hand-drawn sigils and text in gold and silver inks. According to Daniel Schulke, this latter insert was only included in a small number of copies. Leather boards slightly bowed as always, slight rippling to endpages, otherwise Fine condition no dustwrapper, none called for.
